THE SHAME OF NEGLECT

A tragic tale of woe and disregard...or so it seems. It has been two and a half months since the last time I wrote on this blog and much has happened. The remainder of Decemeber and all of January were absurdly busy - especially as I spent a great deal of time talking about how exhausted I was because I was so busy...really, it takes its toll.

As there is much to cover and I have little endurance for marathon narratives, I will try to provide a concise summary of events. Let's start with December:

On December 21st, George and Lina welcomed the second of their children into the world. Emanuel Frederick Baruch Brett became the fourth member of the Brett family, brother to Talula. We went to little Emanuel's brit on a glorious winter's day in Tel Aviv (where, incidentally, we bumped into Ronen Diamont's mum, bizarrely).

On December 30 David launched his first ever Hebrew version of Jewish History in Six Chapters at the Fuchsberg Center in Jerusalem. He had a solid group of loyal students who really enjoyed the course and who loved David (of course).
