In the final week, David had to combine a visit to Jerusalem before the last Tel Aviv talk, to give a one-off lecture to a group of four women on tour in Israel from Florida, organised by Yonit Rothchild who used to live in Perth. They wanted a 'mystical/messianic' themed presentation which David gave them, but the session came with some unexpected special effects which kept David intrigued for some time. It seems that just as David was listing the various develops that needed to take place before the arrival of mashiach (messiah) and just as he had written 'the arrival of Eliahu Hanavi (Elijah the Prophet)', all of a sudden, apparently from nowhere, appeared this tall, mystical looking man, wearing full biblical costume. The man paused, looked inside the room with a faint smile and then left. David and the women in his audience were stunned...super drama! Even more strangely, in the past couple of weeks, since David has begun his latest course, Revolution & Revolution (on the 18th century), this biblical figure has been regularly attending...in full costume, much to the enjoyment of many of the audience members.
Kirk also came to visit in late November and it was wonderful to see him. Naturally, we had several dinners with him and his friends and I also took them on a tour of the flea market in Yaffo.
