AT THE END AND IN THE MIDDLE

A moment for rejoicing: I finished Kita Alef (Level One Hebrew) on Wednesday! Ulpan (Hebrew classes) is just like being back at school - five hours a day, five days a week. So, now we have conversational level Hebrew and are moving on to the marvels of Kita Bet. Here is a pic of our last day, where we explored Neve Tzedek, the first Jewish area built outside of Yafo.

On Thursday, David completed the third of his six-part series, Jewish History in Six Chapters - this week on the Gaonim, a particular favourite of mine. We had a great turnout as you can see.
