ONE TO GO

David gave his second last talk last night, The Whole Jewish World in One Hour, as part of the 'Taste of Limmud' series. We always enjoy our contact with LimmudNY and they make us feel like family.

The turn out was great - there must have been more than one hundred people attending - and despite the fact that the room was incredibly hot, the talk was a big hit. David informed the audience that it was the first time he had given the talk - which was exciting, but that people should also be aware that that made them guinea pigs!

As with all Limmud occasions, the response was incredibly positive, because Limmud audiences are particularly keen. It was also great to be able to catch up with all the familiar faces from Limmud - both volunteers and regular audience members (here I am with Corrine Kolhmeyer-Hyman, this year's co-chair).

Aviva came to the talk and when we eventually got away, we made our way (unsurprisingly) to Kosher Delight for exactly the same meal we always have. Here are the three of us post-soup and lemon chicken. Naturally, a great time was had by all!
