A QUICK STOP IN BLIGHTY

We spent a long weekend in the UK on the way back to Israel because David was booked to speak in Oxford on Sunday morning. On Saturday night we made our way up to Oxford where we stayed overnight in the bedsit in the Oxford Jewish Centre (a strange but comforting experience as you can see from David's expression!).

The next morning we walked out our door to find ourselves in the middle of Sunday morning community activities(!). Despite the early hour (10am), David gave The Whole of Jewish History in One Hour to a packed room and the response was extremely positive, with talk of further engagements in 2008.

We were also very pleased to be able to quickly catch up with Neil, who met us at the Oxford railway station before we returned to London. Neil looks great and seems to be having a super time.

On arriving back in London, we made our way immediately up to Golders Green because David needed to find a minyan as Sunday was also his father's yarhzeit. In doing so, we also managed to catch up with Eli and Marina Klepfish.

Went back to stay with Michael that night and then we were off to Heathrow and back to the airport the next day, very pleased to be returning to Tel Aviv.
