Time ran out for me in New York. Let's go back to where we were. OK, Claudie was visiting. We had a lovely lunch with Claudie and her friend Josh at the Chennai Garden and then wandered around - including a walk through Central Park. It was all very nice, but again it had become very cold ...and the snow was delicately teasing at our climatic insecurities ...
Anyway, Claudie was exhausted, as were we, and I had so much still to do towards organising the gig that we were putting on at the East Village Shul, when David would be putting The Whole of Jewish History in One Hour for the audience that we managed to attract...the pressure was on...
Claudie left on Tuesday and we hadn't managed to spend too much time with her, she hadn't seen a great deal of Manhattan and she had spent most of her time being extremely tired.
