When David returned, April was up and it was time for us to leave Judy's flat - she did offer for us to stay, but it was not a big enough space. We had no money and nowhere to live. It was then that we took up the kind offer of Sharron and his dad to stay with them in
Pardes Hana.
So off we went up to the north with all our belongings (fast expanding) and soon settled into the
Shatil villa, welcomed by the
patriach,
Adon (Mr)
Shatil, Sharron and his two cats
Glibert and
Sinta (pictured:

We spent a week there awaiting confirmation of a couple of things that we needed in order to be able to rent a flat (money, guarantors etc) and rather than feeling homeless and unhappy we soon found ourselves feeling like we were on holiday. It was a break that we really needed.
The weather was glorious and we spent much time hanging out, reading and chatting - an enforced

holiday (because we couldn't do anything else) and it was wonderful. Each morning I would wake up long before David and Sharron and go and lie on the grass outside -
Adon Shatil has a wonderful garden - reading one of the books that Sharron
lent me.
