Would you believe it? We actually bumped into Danny Monde on the street tonight. Really, here in New York...I kid you not! Anyway, Danny had no choice but to join us for a light supper and dessert at a nearby Hummus Bar (can't remember the name, but it was delightful...really). Then, we all retired back to our flat for tea and chats until the beginnings of the wee small hours. 
What a pleasant surprise for the evening!
Also, here is a pic of the apartment we are subletting. Please ignore the disorder - much as the person who sublet it to us did. Ouch! Did I say that out loud...bad Marjorie!
