Also forgot to mention that for the past three Shabbats I/we have been visiting our local synagogue, the Carlebach shul (!). In fact, the first Friday night we were in New York, Rabbi Citron invited us to the shul dinner, where David gave a short Dvar Torah on the parsha.
I have since been every Shabbat morning and have been made to feel very welcome...especially by Rabbi Citron and his wife Chani. It is an amazing environment...but not a place to be in if you are in a hurry!
